Full Moon Rise

Last night’s Hunter’s (or Blood) Moon rose waning gibbous over the hills of Park City. The moon will be rising later each night, moving us into better deep sky observing conditions. Increasing cloudiness and chances of precipitation are forecast for the next few days in Northern Utah, but the weekend should be clear and, given the 11pm local moonrise, excellent for autumn astronomy.
