The Moon Joins Jupiter

The Moon will rise alongside the planet Jupiter tonight (though you won’t see Jupiter until it begins to get dark). Look for the pair to rise in the east around sunset. Events like this are referred to as conjunctions. Checkout Science@NASA for more details.
