A beautiful ashen Moon hung quietly in the western sky shortly after sunset. To its lower right was the innermost planet Mercury just a few degrees away. What a sweet sight!

Taken through a Takahashi FS102 f/8 telescope. This is a 1/80 sec. exposure at ISO-100. In it's highest resolution version, you can see the equatorial bands of Jupiter!
